Coach Director "Kate" Jingyu Hong
Founder of Pinnacle Badminton Center
Coach Kate has devoted her life to badminton, with over 30 years of experience as both a professional athlete and coach. Kate’s coaching philosophy centers on personalized training, technical development, and making the sport enjoyable for all players. Her patient, step-by-step approach has helped players of all levels achieve their goals.

Coach Kyle Hayden
After discovering a love for the sport as a junior in the Bay Area, Kyle Hayden went on to play in clubs and tournaments in New England before moving back to the Bay in his mid twenties. With a focus on growth mindset and the why as much as the how, he pushes his students to fight for improvement over accolades. As the head coach of the Berkeley High Badminton team and a coach at PBC, Hayden strives to bring an amazing experience to developing competitors of all ages.

Coach Xin Huang
Coach Xin started her badminton journey in 2009 at a sports school in China and continued to pursue the sport after moving to the United States. With over a decade of playing experience and numerous accolades, she brings passion and expertise to every session. Coach Xin began sharing her knowledge and love for badminton in 2021. Her approach focuses on helping players discover their potential through structured training, technical growth, and a positive learning environment.

Coach Richard Huang
Coach Huang began his badminton journey in 2015, training at a competitive badminton academy in Vancouver, Canada. After continuing his training and competing in open tournaments in the United States, his passion for the sport naturally evolved into coaching. Today, he enjoys helping develop the next generation of players by sharing both technical skills and the discipline, confidence, and enjoyment that badminton has brought to his own journey.
